79th GEA Search and Rescue Exercise – Ankara

The 79th GEA Exercise took place on April 1-2 at the GEA Search and Rescue Group Training and Coordination Center in Ayas, Ankara with the participation of international operations team members.
Two people from Redog, the Swiss Dog Search Team, participated in the exercise. On the first day of the exercise, Cem Behar, one of the team leaders in the INSARAG Light Team working group, shared information about the criteria set, as well as theoretical training. In accordance with these criteria, practical studies were carried out all night. At the end of the studies, a feedback meeting was held and the camp was completed.
