90th GEA Search and Rescue Exercise – Ankara

Our 90th search and rescue exercise  started on the morning of Friday, August 30 and it finished on Sunday, September 1.

Our SAR exercise  took place with the participation of 112 GEA volunteers, 5 K9 dogs, 4 Redog team members, 1 Semeton Lombok SAR team member and GEA HERT team. In our exercise, we strengthened our preparedness for disasters by conducting our technical trainings in search and rescue, humanitarian aid and cultural heritage protection through various scenarios and simulations.

You don’t have to have any technical knowledge and experience to become a GEA volunteer, you can join our free trainings.
